HMDR Work
HMDR Research
Integration of highly curated clinical, pathologic, and genetic data is a central challenge in translational research. We developed the Hematologic Malignancy Data Repository (HMDR) as a way to enhance the scope and uniformity of clinical data and promote clinical and translational research in hematologic malignancies as DFCI.
- Systemic abstraction of high-quality clinical, and genetic data: we defined a set of core clinical, and genetic data elements for all patients, augmented by additional disease specific data elements.
- Enable access to integrated, de-identified data: to facilitate hypothesis generation, study design, and feasibility assessment, these curated data are made available to investigators through cBioPortal in collaboration with the Knowledge Systems Group.
- Facilitate access to data and promote conduct of research: the HMDR Lab is a research support team that provides a step-by-step data request pipeline which guides users through cohort generation, governance, IRB application, and data delivery.
